The Quincy Trojan Booster Club reports that its first ever Great Inflatable Halftime Race Sept. 26 raised funds to support Quincy Junior-Senior High School students and programs. “It was a wild success and so much fun,” said organizers.
The event consisted of “the funniest halftime show you’ve ever seen”: racers in giant inflatable costumes such as dinosaurs, cows, unicorns and more sprinting across the Quincy Trojan football field.
Organizers thank all of the participants and sponsors. They hope the event will return next year, and they encourage supporters to watch for flyers. Money raised supports Quincy High scholarships, athletics and clubs.
Quincy Boosters is seeking new members. The group will meet next Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. in the Quincy Junior-Senior High School library.
