Plumas Rural Services announces that, in partnership with Plumas Bank, it is inviting the community to donate to a winter boot and sock drive to keep local kids warm this winter.
The drive began Oct. 27 and extends through Nov. 3. Community members are welcome to donate new or gently used winter boots and new socks at any Plumas Bank location or at Plumas Rural Services, 711 E. Main St. in Quincy.
Monetary donations are also welcome. “Every donation helps keep kids in our community cozy this season!” say organizers.
