Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church invites friends and neighbors to participate in its All Souls remembrance leaves tradition.
Organizers say that participants honor their dearly departed by writing their names on beautiful “leaves” that will adorn the church’s All Souls remembrance tree, displayed in front of the altar throughout the month of November. “Swing by the social hall to pick up a leaf, jot down the names of your loved ones and drop them in the basket or any collection — let’s ‘leaf’ no name behind!” say organizers.
Some of the remembrance tributes will be shared during November Masses to celebrate and honor lives that have touched those in the community.
