Seventh-day Adventists serve Quincy Community Supper

Next free meal set for Nov. 12

Quincy Community Supper announces that members of the Quincy Seventh-day Adventist Church under the leadership of Nina Harris served a delicious supper of spinach and ricotta ravioli, in addition to a gluten-free option, for the Oct. 22 meal. They added a fresh vegetable salad and bread to the menu.

The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Methodist church, 282 Jackson St. The supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices. The group recently celebrated 23 years of serving these free meals.

The next supper will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.

Questions regarding the supper, donations or signing up to volunteer may be directed to Angela Elliott at 530-283-1478.
