Quincy Community Supper reports that Quincy Community Church hosted the supper Nov. 12. Volunteers served 116 meals of breakfast for dinner, consisting of pancakes, sausage and fruit.
The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Methodist church, 282 Jackson St. The supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices. The group recently celebrated 23 years of serving these free meals.
The next supper will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.
