The Taylorsville United Methodist Church invites anyone coping with loss to a grief peer support group where participants can find comfort, understanding and hope together.
“Losing a loved one can feel overwhelming,” say organizers. “You don’t have to go through it alone. Join our supportive, caring group for adults who are grieving. Share your journey, listen to others and find healing together in a safe and compassionate space.”
The group, which is sponsored by the Taylorsville United Methodist Church Community Outreach Program, is open to any adults experiencing grief and loss. Participants meet every Thursday, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church social hall.
Organizers offer a confidential and respectful environment, opportunities to share personal experiences, supportive listening from group members and peer group support.
No registration is required. Those interested are welcome to simply drop in any Thursday evening. More information is available from Kathleen Thomson at 530-284-6603.
