Feather River College Athletics announces that the Golden Eagles football team has won the 2025 American Division championship. FRC went on the road Saturday, Nov. 22, versus undefeated De Anza College and came away victorious 42-21.
Sophomore Janerious Jackson was named bowl championship MVP as he rushed for 187 yards on 25 carries and scored two touchdowns. The Golden Eagles held a 14-7 lead just before the half when Elijah Stafford-McNutt delivered an electric 70-yard interception return for touchdown. Stafford-McNutt earned defensive MVP honors for the contest.
Kyle Valdez earned most valuable offensive player with his two touchdown receptions. Sophomore Marco Casci led the Golden Eagles in tackles and recorded an interception, one of four FRC picks on the afternoon.
In summary, Feather River College finished the season 10-1 overall, undefeated in conference play and American Division champion.
