Golf Report: Oct. 26 – Nov. 8

Oct. 31: Friday Playday

A sunny and warm Halloween day was the setting for the Graeagle Men’s Golf Association Friday Playday game of low net and skins. Results are as follows:

  • First place: Jim Reynolds, 71 
  • Second place: Grant Mayfield, 74 
  • Third place: Bert Bellows, 78 

Nine skins were won by the following players:

  • Grant Mayfield, with a 3 on the second hole, a 2 on the third hole and a 3 on the sixth hole
  • Bert Bellows, with a 4 on the fifth hole, a 3 on the 13th hole and a 3 on the 15th hole
  • Jim Reynolds, with a 3 on the ninth hole, a 4 on the 11th hole and a 3 on the 14th hole

Nov. 7: Friday Playday

Spectacular weather continued for the Greagle Men’s Golf Association and 11 players took advantage in an individual net score and skins game. The players played the front nine twice as the back nine was waterlogged. The top scores for the day were as follows:

  • First place: Don Judson, 67
  • Second place: Chuck Heil, 68
  • Third place: Mark Yuill, 70

Five skins were won. Both scores on holes were combined to determine the player scores:

  • Bob Davies, with a 6 on the second hole 
  • Chuck Hein, with a 3 on the first hole
  • Mark Yuill, with a 6 on the fourth hole and a 5 on the ninth hole
  • Grant Mayfield, with a 4 on the eighth hole

“The GMGA board of directors would like to thank all the GMGA players, Graeagle Meadows restaurant employees, Graeagle Meadows pro shop staff and The Plumas Sun staff for their contributions in making our 2025 golf season a success,” said organizers. “We look forward to continued collaboration for our upcoming 2026 season!”
