The Calpine Elks Lodge No. 2432 announces a free Breakfast with Santa event set to take place this Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. until noon at the lodge, 72192 Highway 70 in Portola.
In addition to the meal, children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus with a photo opportunity. Gifts and craft kits will be available for kids to take home. Organizers ask that attendees bring a canned food item to donate to the lodge’s holiday food drive.
The Calpine Elks is a local charitable organization known for supporting veterans, providing youth scholarships, offering community support and presenting events. Donations to the Calpine Elks Purple Pig fundraiser go directly to the group’s major project.
