PCIRC hosts annual holiday fundraising dinner on Friday

UPDATE: Organizers reported Dec. 11 that the fundraising dinner has been canceled.

Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center announces that as the twinkle lights are going up and the air is turning crisp, the center is inviting the community to gather for its annual holiday fundraising dinner Friday, Dec. 12.

This year’s celebration will be held at DragonFly Café in Quincy, with one seating available at 6 p.m. Organizers promise that guests will enjoy a four-course plated meal “designed to feel like a holiday treat from start to finish.”

PCIRC invites everyone to share a little holiday cheer, a beautiful meal and the joy of gathering together during this “intimate, sparkling and wonderfully seasonal” event.

The evening begins with an amuse-bouche, followed by a soup or salad. Guests may then choose between a main course of prime rib or blackened salmon, and the night concludes with a holiday dessert “sweet enough to make anyone believe in magic,” say organizers.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase, and guests may bring their own bottle for a $20 corkage fee.

Tickets cost $75 per person and reservations are available online.
