Feather River College Upward Bound announces it organized a service project with the Community Action Network food bank in Quincy over the holidays. Upward Bound students and staff joined students from the Quincy Junior-Senior High School S-Club to prepare boxes of food for families in need.
“Upward Bound encourages students to engage in the community through service to help participants find their passions, develop a network of adult mentors and contribute to society in a positive way,” said Upward Bound Director Audrey Selby. She said all of this increases their chances of being accepted to the college of their choice and reaching their postsecondary goals.
