The “Angel of Death” visited 77-year-old Beverly Marie Garnett Reynolds on March 31, 2024, after fighting a five-year battle with brain cancer. Her parents, Faye and Roger Garnett, welcomed third daughter Bev into this world on Oct. 13, 1946, in Oakland, California.

She was raised in Castro Valley, California, and attended Hayward High School, then on to Chico State University in northern California.

Considered “employee extraordinaire”, she worked at Peterson Tractor Company 38 years.

Beloved wife of Jim Reynolds; adored by special needs sister Marilyn Garnett; cherished in-laws to Pat and Mike Klos, Marilouise. Ted Brayer, Bruce Reynolds; as well as nieces, nephews, their spouses and offspring — all created a large and loving extended family for her.

Beverly and Jim were married on Oct. 20, 1979, in San Leandro where they lived and enjoyed 26 wonderful years before retiring to Graeagle, California, in 2005. Upon completion of their custom-built home, Bev and Jim played “golf, golf, golf” and developed a multitude of close friends within the community. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held April 28, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Graeagle Meadows Golf Club House.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Cancer Society.
