Parents invited to discover ‘healing power’

This year’s High Sierra Parent Conference is set for May 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Feather River College. Organizers report that the free event, titled “The Healing Power of Parenting,” aims to empower parents with simple and surprising tools to foster connected relationships with their children.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with the chance to win prizes and gift cards. Child care reimbursement up to $80 is available for families with children aged 0 – 5 years. Attendees will also receive a swag bag, including parenting books to help participants continue their parenting journey.

Andre Essue, local mindset and fatherhood coach, will be presenting. The event also features a Parent Cafe facilitated by Jessica Stading of Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities, providing attendees with an interactive platform to share parenting insights and experiences.
