Inez Alicia Robbins

Inez Alicia Robbins, born on March 28, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024, in Sumter, South Carolina.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Clifford Robbins and the devoted daughter of the late Gerald and Agnes Tullius. Inez is survived by her loving children Anthony Robbins and Christina Erickson; her cherished grandson Hunter Erickson; and her daughter-in-law Amanda Robbins. She also leaves behind her siblings Dena Beaudine, Noma Bates, Paul Tullius, and Stephen Tullius.

In her professional life, Inez dedicated herself to the U.S. Forest Service, where she served as a district ranger, utilizing her master’s degree in agriculture from the University of Arizona. Later, she contributed her skills as a teller at Placer Bank and in new accounts at Plumas Bank before retiring. Outside of work, Inez found joy in volunteering with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, embodying the spirit of service. She was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, served as a reader, and offered support to fellow congregants unable to attend services. Her passion for gardening provided her solace and contentment in her leisure time.

Inez and her beloved husband Bob will be laid to rest together at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery on March 26. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local church or add her to the prayer list. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
