The Women in California Leadership Foundation reports it is now accepting applications for two scholarship opportunities:
Minerva Scholarship
Offering over 100 scholarships of $3,000 each, plus one $10,000 Golden Minerva Scholarship, the Minerva Scholarship program supports women pursuing postsecondary education. Applicants must be enrolled full time or be graduating seniors from a California high school and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Breaking Barriers
Designed to assist women in STEM fields, the Breaking Barriers program offers five multiyear awards ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 per year. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to a program related to science, technology, engineering or math and have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
